The Goodwood Revival festival on and around the Goodwood motor circuit in Chichester<\/a> is the largest vintage festival in Europe for old-timer car, motorcycle and airplane enthusiasts and is therefore not immediately reminiscent of vintage bicycles.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

However, in addition to the numerous beautiful unique Ferrari's, Aston Martins, Mercedes, Fiat 500's, Ford's, Jaguars (and we can go on like this for a while), there was also a stand of vintage racing bikes this year.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Because the stand was in the Italian part, it was therefore plenty of Italian brands such as Bianchi, Bottecchia, Gianni Motta, Maino<\/strong> and of course Colnago<\/strong> that could be admired. The bicycles on display were not for sale, but some loose components such as derailleurs, gears and race frames.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, prices were very high, following the trend of the festival. Definitely not the place for a bargain!\nThe stand was decorated with posters and pictures of famous Italian cyclists such as Fausto Coppi and Gino Bartali and that referred to the rich cycling history of Italy<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Although Goodwood is a vintage car event, the bikes were allowed to enter the race circuit.<\/p>\n

During the ride and exhibition of the vintage Fiat Cinquecento on Sunday, the owners of the vintage Italian racing bikes were allowed to follow the cars, a somewhat strange situation.<\/p>\n

Who knows if there will be more vintage bicycle stands to admire in the future?<\/p>\n
