The bike in the spotlight this time is a Peugeot Record du Monde from the 1980s. A type that was very popular at the time and can still be found quite easily on 2nd hand websites or vintage bicycle markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nice about this bike is that certain components such as the rear derailleur from Simplex are provided with decals from Peugeot. The crankset is even engraved with the Peugeot logo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Peugeot Record du Monde was a very popular bike and was equipped as standard with a Simplex group, an Atax Guidon Philippe handlebar, an Atax stem and Mafac brakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To give a little variation to the model, decals were used that refer to the most important cols of France: Galibier, Izoard, Tourmalet, \u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tubes used were either Reynolds or Vitus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
