De racefiets die deze keer in de kijker staat is er één uit mijn collectie. Ik moet het toegeven maar ik heb een liefde voor Italiaanse merken, ik kan het niet onder stoelen of banken steken. Dit Italiaans raspaardje is van het merk Faggin, iets minder bekend maar een merk dat bekend staat voor kwaliteit en waar handmatige productie hoog in het vaandel staat.
I bought this Faggin as it can be seen in the pictures below, it is fully assembled with Campagnolo Nuovo Record except for the seat post that will be replaced in the future. The bike must date from the first half of the 80s of the last century and that is why I suspect that the brake cables were not originally integrated but were on top of the brakes. An adjustment that I will definitely make in the future.
